Tassy is 16 and lives in St Ives, Cornwall. She is Britain’s top British female pro-junior surfer, and tipped as British’s best prospect to become the first British woman to qualify for the Women’s WCT – open only to the top 16 professional women surfers in the world.

At 16 she is already widely travelled, having competed in Australia, New Zealand, and Ecuador as well as throughout Europe. She has represented Great Britain three times in the World Junior Surfing Games, and has just been selected to represent England in the European Championships in Portugal. 

For a British surfer to succeed on the world stage, they need experience and exposure to big, challenging and consistent world-class waves.  Since the age of 13, Tassy has travelled with her coaches to most of the world’s major surf locations including Hawaii, California, the Maldives and Bali.

 Tassy balances the hectic training and competition schedule and lifestyle of a professional athlete with the demands of still being in full-time education – and if that wasn’t enough she is currently in her GCSE year!
