Sofie is zowat de meest radicale windsurfvrouw die ons Belgenland te bieden heeft. Alles in haar leven staat in teken van haar sport. Ze leeft in een eeuwige zomer, telkens op zoek naar een plek waar het samenspel van wind en golven volledig aan haar veriesten voldoen. Samen met O'Neill teamrider  Filip Loosvelt stampte ze 10 jaar geleden een eigen windsurfschool uit de grond aan de Vlaamse Kust. En met succes, want samen runnen ze een bloeiende zaak.
