O'Neill FirstLoveLastLove steunt Pakistan
Steun Pakistan @ Ice Mountain !

LOCKED UP IN THE SNOW FOR 24 HOURS, TO HELP THE VICTIMS IN PAKISTAN
On the 4th and 5th of September 2010, the O’Neill First Love Last Love ambassadors will do their part to help the victims of the flood in Pakistan.
Inspired by the O’Neill catchphrase ‘Snow is only frozen water’, 15 girls will lock themselves up in the indoor ski run ‘Ice Mountain’ in Komen.
The O’Neill First Love Last Love ambassadors have taken note of the severity of the disaster in Pakistan, which has been reported in media coverage over the last few weeks. Relief organizations stress the necessity of humanitarian aid to the victims of the flood. Although more than 14 million people are in immediate want of tents, medication, food, etc, relief is only just getting started, and not without difficulties.
“Snow is only frozen water”
The number of victims is expected to go up in the upcoming days, since the water level in the southern regions is still rising. The recovery of the stricken areas could take years. The O’Neill First Love Last Love ambassadors realize the urgency of the situation and want to inspire others to contribute to the relief of the victims in Pakistan.
During their campaign in Ice Mountain, the girls will provide for themselves completely. They will eat, drink and sleep in the ski run, while braving temperatures that fluctuate around 6 degrees below zero. They want to call on the Belgian people to sponsor them for every hour they spend in the cold. Visitors can take a picture for only 1 euro, for the benefit of the victims in Pakistan.
Support the ambassadors
O’Neill Belgium will double the amount which the ambassadors collect! The proceeds will be donated entirely to the victims in Pakistan, through the Red Cross.
By organizing this campaign, the First Love Last Love girls want to attract attention to this natural disaster and its victims. Everybody is welcome to come cheer on the girls during their 24 hours in the snow, and make a contribution to the victim relief.
The girls will move into Ice Mountani on Saturday the 4th of September at 4 P.M., and stay there until 4 P.M. on Sunday the 5th. Ice Mountain will stay open during those 24 hours!
You can support the Red Cross activities in Pakistan by donating to the ambassadors or by depositing into account no 000-0006566-67, mention: ‘Boardgirls for Pakistan’.
